This is a private accomodation run by a Sri Lankan couple. I stayed here on the first night. Clean room. If you are a party goer, this may not ideal for you as curfew starts at 10 pm. It's 1,400 rupee (about USD13) a night.

Sigiri Holiday Inn - this is a double bed room. Room is pretty okay, but it needs a little makeover though. This room is 1,300 rupee (about USD12) a night.

Hotel Sunshine - Clean nice hotel but only double rooms are available here. Rate is 3,500 rupee (USD32) per night. I stayed 2 nights here, so the manager reduced to 3,000 rupee.

Stay Korea is small yet comfy hostel is run by a Korean lady who speaks French. It's very clean. The dorm (6 mixed beds) is 19,000 won (USD18) per night.
